This research aimed to identify the impact of a training program for teachers of students with learning disabilities at intermediate and secondary levels, with the objective of integrating the goals of the Human Capability Development Program into the transitional plans of students with learning disabilities. The training program, which consisted of lectures, workshops, and practical applications, contributed to enhancing the participating teachers’ understanding and ability to incorporate the program’s objectives within their students’ transitional plans. The research applied a quasi-experimental design with a single group, utilizing pre- and post-measurements through a researcher-designed test to examine the extent to which the Human Capability Development Program’s goals were embedded in the transitional plan. The results revealed statistically significant differences in favor of the post-test, indicating greater inclusion of the program’s objectives in the transitional plan. Based on these findings, the study recommended expanding teacher training programs focused on transition planning skills and formally embedding the objectives of the Human Capability Development Program into the transitional plans of students with learning disabilities, through an official framework within the Learning Disabilities Teacher’s Guide for Transition Services. The research further emphasized the necessity of aligning the objectives of the Human Capability Development Program within the guide for teachers of students with learning disabilities at intermediate and secondary levels, particularly in relation to transition services.
