The study aimed to identify professional competencies in the job performance evaluation criteria for public education teachers by measuring the degree of availability of professional competencies: (educational, personal, digital) in the city of Jeddah, and whether there are statistically significant differences at the significance level (α= 0.05) between the arithmetic means of the availability of these competencies in public school teachers from the perspective of school principals, attributable to academic qualifications, educational level, years of experience. To achieve the research objectives, a descriptive survey method was used, and the study population consisted of 463 female principals at various stages of public education (primary, middle, and secondary). The questionnaire was used as a study tool, and the study concluded that the degree of availability of professional competencies among public education teachers in the city of Jeddah was moderate, with the following ranking: digital competencies, followed by educational competencies, and personal competencies in third and last place.
