Abstract:
This study aimed to know the impact of social networking sites on the educational values of students The Higher Institute of Communications and Navigation in the State of Kuwait, The final study sample consisted of (255) male and female students, constituting (15.21%) of the total study population. The number of students from the study sample, from the first year students, was (111) male and female students, and from the second year students, there were (143) male and female students. The study relied on the descriptive analytical approach in the style of a social survey with a simple random sample. Based on the results that were extracted from applying the study tool to the sample, it became clear that there were high and positive perceptions among the study sample members Towards the impact of social media on students’ value system in the value areas addressed in the study, The impact of social media on students’ professional values came in first place in terms of relative importance at a high level. This was followed by its impact on spiritual, national and societal values at a high level, and in last order its impact on individual values at a moderate level.
